The Instituto João Calvino (also called “Center for Theological Studies of the Reformed Churches of Brazil”) is a theological education project that aims to prepare men for the offices in the Church of Christ.
The João Calvino Institute offers training courses for leaders, training courses for men already serving in the office, a diploma in theological studies for people not called to the ministry of the Word, and also a complete 5-year theological course for men seeking ordination as ministers of word.
Every teacher who teaches at the João Calvino Institute subscribes to the Three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort).
Every student who studies at the João Calvino Institute is also obliged to subscribe to the Three Forms of Unity.
